Thank you for your interest in participating in the 5th Annual Kiwanis Touch-a-Truck event!

 

We're excited to host this fun and interactive experience for families in our community.  Please review the following important information for participants:

Event Details

  • Date:  Saturday, March 28, 2026

  • Event Time:  10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

  • Participant Arrival & Departure:  Please plan to be on-site from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.  Early departures are not permitted.

Participant Guidelines

  • Vehicle Approval:  Kiwanis reserves the right to approve all vehicles.  To ensure a diverse and enjoyable experience, we may limit the number of similar vehicles or total participants.  Confirmation of vehicle acceptance will be provided ASAP, but no later than February 1, 2026.

  • Safety First:  All drivers and participants must be in good standing.  Vehicles much remain stationary throughout the event.

  • Supervision Required:  At least one responsible adult must remain with the vehicle at all times.

  • Registration:  Please submit one registration form per vehicle you wish to bring to the event.

  • There is no rain date for this event.  In the unlikely case the event should need to be cancelled, we will let you know by 9 AM on March 27th.

Hold Harmless Agreement: Vehicle owner agrees that it will indemnify and hold harmless Kiwanis International and the Kiwanis Club of Kernersville, a Kiwanis club, from and against all losses, claims, suits or other legal liability and legal expenses of any nature imposed upon or brought against them by reason of any act or omission of the contractor/service provider or its agent or employees in the course of performing the work of providing the services that are the subject of this contract.

Cost to Participate:  Free

We welcome contributions to be used towards event advertising and event proceeds to benefit children's programs sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Kernersville.  See below for various sponsorship opportunities.
