Annual Downtown Halloween

In keeping with our literacy efforts, Kernersville Kiwanis hands out books to the children attending...improving their minds while saving their teeth!

For over 20 years, the streets of downtown Kernersville have been alive with children of all ages dressed in their most spectacular Halloween costumes. Local churches and organizations offer fall festivals and trunk-or-treats. There are plenty of safe and exciting Halloween activities to choose from.

A chance to see your favorites: superheroes, villains, princesses, power rangers, pop stars, or the scary characters that show up every Halloween. The transformed children will be roaming about for delicious sugary treats around Halloween.

A Cause Worth Supporting

While admission is free, donations are warmly welcomed. Every contribution aids the Kiwanis Club of Kernersville in their mission to support children's programs in the community. In 2023 alone, they contributed over $30,000 and donated more than 6,000 books to local children's educational initiatives.
