Kiwanis of Kernersville

We are an active and vibrant club in the community.  At our meetings, we host speakers from the local area and beyond to share information about organizations, happenings, events, and other interesting topics.  We host and participate in many different events each year including Touch-a-Truck, Kiwanis "FORE" The Children golf tournament, Miss Mary's Fourth of July parade, State Cross Country Track Meet, and Downtown Halloween.  Through our literacy program, we have spent volunteer hours building and placing book cases in our area elementary schools, as well as, helping the schools build out their Terrific Kids and BUG programs.  In addition, our volunteers help throughout the schools with reading, mentoring, lunch monitors, etc.
